Meat quality is not just about breed, its about choosing animals that have eaten properly and have lived good quality lives. Our beef is 100% British and grass-fed, and the venison is 100% wild.
No nonsense
No nitrates, potasium sorbate or ANY artificial nonsense is used in the making of Manna Biltong. Our biltong is preserved naturally using red wine vinegar, salt and the drying process.
Flavour
Our original biltong recipe took us 5 months to develop! We have carefully chosen our spices to bring out the natural flavour of the meat and provide a well balanced, deep flavour base. Think rich, zingy, umami explosion!
our story
It all started on a rainy day in Totnes, Devon. Over a succulent ale in the local boozer, two friends, Daniel and Guy, set out on an adventure to make - The Best Biltong In The world!!
As lovers of biltong, they felt disheartened by the long list of (non)ingredients included in biltong. On top of that they found it difficult to find biltong made with top quality ingredients.
The solution was clear: Use primium meat and get rid of the nasties!
Daniel’s background is in regenerative food and farming, and Guy worked in professional kitchens. Together they made the perfect pair to reach this lofty goal.

Our wild-venison biltong is hand-crafted using wild venison from Dartmoor, hand cut and air-dried the traditional way for deep savoury and tender bite. We season it simply- red wine vinegar, cracked black peppercorns, toasted coriander seeds, fennel, chilli flakes and Sea Salt - brought together with a touch of Worcestershire sauce for rich, rounded depth.
No nitrates. No preseratives. No artificial nonsense.

Our 100g pouch of protein-packed Manna Biltong is the perfect mid-size option — for sharing or keeping to yourself. Made in England using local grass-fed beef and no preservatives, it delivers the same rich, traditional flavour in a convenient resealable bag to keep every slice fresh.
Hand-crafted in small batches, our biltong is prepared using a traditional curing process and a carefully balanced blend of coriander, fennel, chilli flakes, and cracked black pepper. The result is tender, air-dried slices of beef with deep savoury flavour and a subtle warmth from the spices.
